Style and Colour: Triple amber beer with spices, gluten free.

Taste: After a full and well-malted first taste, we find greedy notes of caramel and roasted almonds, the roundness of honey and the strength of an intense spicy bouquet.

Alcohol: 7.2 % ABV

Drinking Temperature: 6 °C

Fermentation: High fermentation. A blend of two cereals, two malts and several hops (including Strisselpalt from Alsace with very aromatic floral notes) combined with honey and a unique spicy bouquet.  Gluten-free: thanks to an entirely natural process, gluten is transformed into smaller, perfectly digestible proteins. In contrast to industrial breweries, the maturation period is longer than 4 weeks. This maturation stage is a key step in refining the beer, developing fine and subtle aromas and obtaining a perfect balance.

The Brewery: In 1999, Sylvain Chiron relaunched the "Bière du Mont-Blanc", which had been established in Haute Savoie since 1830, attracted by the quality of the water, for the production, and the proximity of the glaciers, for the conservation.

Origin: At the end of the 19th century, 8 breweries were established in the heart of the Alps, attracted by the quality of the water for production and the proximity of the glaciers for conservation.

Food: Particularly appreciated as an aperitif, it is a perfect accompaniment to cold meats, roasted meats and smoked fish.

World Beer Awards: Gold Medal in 2011 and 2022

Dunkles, würziges Bier aus der Region Chamonix, nicht übertrieben bitter oder süss. Ich fand es voll ok und mit einem guten Geschmack. Allerdings mag ich das Blanche von Mont-Blanc noch besser
