Style and Colour: Amber Trappist beer.

Taste: Strong, malty, pronounced, intense and warm with sweet notes of dates and caramel.

Alcohol: 10 % ABV

Drinking Temperature: 10 - 14° C  

Fermentation: La Trappe Quadruple is a high fermentation beer with in-bottle re-fermentation.

The Brewery: The brewing of beer for the monks' own use began at the abbey of Notre-Dame de Koningshoeven near Tilburg, in the Netherlands. In 1933, the name'Trappist' was registered. Only beers made by monks in an abbey can be called "Trappist".

Origin: The name La Trappe comes from the French abbey of Notre-Dame de la Grande Trappe, in Normandy.

Food: It goes very well with the products of hunting and all stews.

    Una delle mie favorite, lascia pizzicorio un bocca dopo il primo sorso. Molto forte e densa. la consiglio con un bel piatto di formaggi stagionati o blue cheese.
