Tilquin box 3 x 75cl

I feel like my tasting notes don’t even begin to describe how delightful these beers are. A true masterpiece of a collection. The nose on the quetsche displays tartness with notes of sour plum, white grape, and citrus fruit. Furthermore, the woody aromas from the barrel aging are strong and add a vinous quality. The Gueuze comes across as balanced and flavorful, but I doubt I have the patience to wait a few more years to see how this ages. It definitely satisfies as is. The flavor of the Mure is fresh and fermented, with tart berries along with apricot, green apple, and wet wood. Mouthfeel is light and drying. Overall a pleasure to drink and pairs well with smoked meats and cheese.
