Style and ColourBelgian Trappist Blond Ale (Limited edition)

Taste: Fresh and balanced: fresh feel with a harmonious mix of fruit and spice. Citrus zest and orchard fruit (e.g., apple) add brightness. Subtle spice character from coriander/cardamom complements the fruit. Clean and dry with a light, refined spice ending — making it refreshing and elegant.

Alcohol: 6.5 % ABV

Drinking Temperature: 8 - 10° C

Fermentation: High fermentation beer that re-ferments in the bottle.

The Brewery: The brewing of beer for the monks’ own use commenced in 1862 in Abbay Scourmont in Chimay. In 1933 the ‘Trappistenbier’ name was trademarked. Only beers made by monks in an Abbaye can take the name "Trappist".

Origin: Chimay 175 Sérigraphiée is a limited‑edition Trappist blonde ale released by Chimay to celebrate the 175ᵗʰ anniversary of the Scourmont Abbey, where the brewery is based. It’s brewed in the traditional Trappist monastic style but crafted specifically as a commemorative beer.

Food: It’s ideal for enjoying on its own or with lighter fare (cheeses, salads, seafood)
