Style and Colour: Brown beer with character.

Taste: Spicy aniseed and liquorice flavours, superbly complemented by full-bodied caramel notes, fruity notes, especially pear, as well as a very slight hint of bitterness at the end of the palate.

Alcohol: 8 % ABV

Drinking Temperature: 6 - 8° C  

Fermentation: High fermentation. 

The Brewery: Achouffe 

Origin: According to a legend that appeared in the Belgian Ardennes, in the small village of Achouffe, it was in an old grimoire that the dwarfs discovered the secret of making this golden beer, which gave them their happiness.

Food: Goes very well with ham, chicories or goat's cheese.
